This course is suitable for students from 14 to 17 years old who wish to study English, make new friends from around the world, and experience the exciting activities New Zealand has to offer, in a fun and safe environment. The course is primarily English classes in the mornings and an exciting calendar of activities in the afternoons. Activities can include: Indoor rock climbing, visits to museums and theme parks, indoor or outdoor skiing/snowboarding, sightseeing, shopping, aquarium visits, dance classes, movies, horse riding, ice skating and jet boating.

You will be given a placement test on the first day of the course and placed in class with other students at the same level.


Assessment is continuous throughout the course. CCEL students are tested every 5 weeks and receive individual progress reports.
